Scrubbed Douglas Fir
This reclaimed Douglas Fir timber has been salvaged from a Circa 1930's school near Edinburgh. The boards are band sawn and washed with Lye which naturally bleaches out the pink/red tones synonymous with Douglas Fir. This leaves the surface with a neutral, warm, slightly silvered and aged colour. They are then scrubbed to give the surface a brushed and textured feel. Historical fixing marks will be visible.
Approx 5000m2 in stock.
These boards are supplied ready to fit with all waste removed and split ends cut off. Lead time on an average size order is approx 2 weeks
We can supply them lacquered for an extra £15m2
