Norton Factory Boards Light
Reclaimed from the historic Norton Abrasives Factory in Welwyn Garden City, these original timber boards once formed the floors and ceilings of the site’s industrial buildings.
Dating from around the 1920s, the timber is high-quality, slow-grown Redwood — a material typical of early twentieth-century construction but rarely found today. Decades of use have left each board with a rich patina, natural tonal variation and the authentic marks of its past life.
Carefully salvaged and prepared for a new generation of interiors, the boards retain the character and integrity of genuine British industrial heritage.
Available in four finishes — Light, Natural, Medium and Dark — allowing the texture and history of the timber to be interpreted in different interior settings.
