Antique Mill Step

A unique and unusual antique wooden mill step which originates from Dixon and Sons Bobbin Mill in Steeton Yorkshire.

The step has a beautifully worn surface, natural marks and plenty of character accumulated over many years of use.  It has a simple, practical design with two generous steps and a useful cut-out carrying handle.

Originally made as a practical mill or workshop step, this charming vintage piece would now make a fabulous decorative and functional addition to a country kitchen, boot room, utility room or bathroom.

It could also be used as a plant stand or display piece, or as an interesting and versatile addition to a retail or commercial setting.

A characterful piece with plenty of scope for imaginative use.

This has been thought the workshop to be cleaned, treated and waxed.
