In original condition with great colour and wear. The art work lettering of Pratts Motor Oil Sealed is hand painted or stencilled. The base carries the name 'F. Robinson & Co LTD Hull'. The original carry handle in great working condition with original cap still intact and fully working.

Charles Pratt and Company was an oil company that was formed in 1867 by Charles Henry Pratt and Henry H. Rogers in Brooklyn, New York. In 1896 the company had issued its first UK advertisement for 'Pratt's Petroleum', named after Charles Pratt. The following year, the Esso brand was launched in the United States, and then introduced in the UK until 1934. The Pratt's brand name remained in use for lubricant products until the 1950s.
