Reclaimed boards from the Historic Braimes Pressings Factory, Leeds

Reclaimed boards from the Historic Braimes Pressings Factory, Leeds

We’ve recently received a beautiful batch of reclaimed boards salvaged from the Braimes Pressings Factory in Leeds — a site with more than a century of engineering heritage.

These timbers formed part of the factory’s original structure and working floors, rich with patina and character from decades of use. Each piece carries a tangible link to Yorkshire’s industrial past.

The boards are now being carefully sorted, graded, and prepared at Lawson’s Yard so they’re ready for new interiors — from flooring and wall cladding to bespoke joinery.

Reclaiming timber from sites like Braimes preserves genuine industrial history while giving exceptional materials a sustainable new purpose.
